Today’s Words that Sell are Questions

I have a confession. When it comes to attracting your target market, I think headlines that use questions are the hardest working headlines you can ever use.

Why?

Because when we see a question, in the back of our minds, we are answering Yes, No or Maybe.

When it comes to generating enquiries, all of those answers are great – even a No.

Answering No immediately screens out people who aren’t interested in your product or service. That’s a desirable outcome.

While a Yes or a Maybe response will draw readers in. As they are scanning or reading your marketing content, they will continue to evaluate whether your product or service is right for them. If they get to the call to action, you are well on your way to making another sale.
